NAKED ARMY was probably inspired by an inherited box of letters written home to a great aunt by men serving with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) during WW1.
Their stories had to be captured, and told, somehow, in a way that would allow those that have a direct physical link to the men portrayed to remember them, and also in a way that will encourage remembrance and foster education in our younger Australians.
NAKED ARMY's history, like that of the Australian fighting man, is a relatively new one. Formed as a small business in 2003, NAKED ARMY is one proud Australian's attempt to capture the spirit of the Australian fighting man in a tangible way.
NAKED ARMY's mandate is simple: to deliver products that are well researched, finely sculpted, (we even turn the buttons on a lathe) and to create something unique in the marketplace.
With the support and retail presence of renowned organisations like the Returned & Services League and The Australian War Memorial, and our quality retailers Australia-wide, NAKED ARMY products are both accessible and affordable.
NAKED ARMY’ aim is to deliver innovative, exciting products to appeal equally to the history buffs, the hobbyists, and the sentimental blokes out there.
